Apple has asked a bankruptcy court for permission to sue Kodak, accusing it of infringing its patents.
In a court filing in New York's federal bankruptcy court, Apple said it wanted to file a complaint against Kodak at the International Trade Commission.
Apple said the suit would seek to bar Kodak from importing various products, such as printers and digital cameras, that it believes infringes its patents.
The move comes just days after Kodak said it was killing off its camera division.
Apple said it also wanted to file a corresponding lawsuit in the Manhattan federal court, which would seek damages it has suffered since the iconic photography company filed for bankruptcy last month.

Apple are just one giant lawyer machine, have always been and will be more so now they have no innovation left.

Beats me why they think they need to sue a company going bankrupt. What do they hope to get out of them?
-
To kill them - or get what they can. Probably after patents.

A story such as this is a very good reason why we should not buy Apple ':|
