It may be worth waiting to get Windows 8 if I am to buy a new computer.   :dunno:

Clive i've heard Windows 8 is crap just as Simon predicts. I've only very recently embraced windows 7, i must admit i like it much more than Vista. I certainly wouldn't wait for 8 to buy a pc, in fact it sounds more like a good shout to get one now to guarantee it doesn't have 8 on it.

Thanks for the advice Dave.  Windows 7 is a good OS apart from the fact that it doesn't support Outlook Express which I love with all my heart.   :bawl:

Mrs Clive uses it and hates it with a vengeance.  She too was a fan of OE.

Weird. I prefer to just use a web client / pine these days. Well I've always liked pine
