Title: uk based VPN to use in Cyprus
Post by: PhilTheFish on November 28, 2012, 13:11
Hi,

I'm looking for a way to be able to access uk only sites when I'm abroad (Cyprus in particular) using my ipod touch. I believe setting up a VPN on the ipod is quite simple but I want to make sure I sign up to a VPN that gives decent network speed (enough for streaming TV etc.)

Has anyone any experience of this? Any recommendations and hints/tips?

Thanks in advance
Phil

Sorry Phil, can't help with that one myself.  Hopefully someone else may have some experience of this.

In fact, I'm not even sure of the legalities of that, so we may not be able to help anyway.  :-\

Join the club Phil.  I'm spending Christmas in Thailand and the hotel has free WiFi throughout.  We are heavily into Strictly but will miss the last three episodes because BBC iPlayer isn't available anywhere outside the UK.  I pay my license fee so why can't I get it?   >:(
