Loved his music. He made yodelling a fine art!
The best yodeller in the business. Many a time Ive had one of his songs playing while in the kitchen, and Ive joined in with his yodelling, to the dismay of my little dog!

Brian Matthew played Frank Ifield's She taught me how to yodel on Sounds of the Sixties last Saturday. ::)

Great-Frank was another great Yodeller!

That I cannot deny. ;D He was certainly very successful and had three number one's in a row. My favourite was Lucky Devil
which was his first record and got to #22 in the charts.

I love Country Music through from late 50s to the present day but Slim was never on my playlist. He did a lot for country music though and will be missed by all his fans. There must be one hell of a band up there now. 8-)
