Title: Instant Messaging for Travellers
Post by: chorleydave on July 14, 2003, 00:13
Although I am a Trillian user, I used to use a messenger called "Easy Message".  Like Trillian, this will connect to MSN, ICQ, AOL & Yahoo.  I stopped using it because at the time the program was new and a bit flakey.

I've just been to the website, because I have been looking for another messenger for the sole use of my son.  It hadn't occurred to me, but as the program is a mere 200KB in size, the author suggests that it is ideal for travellers as it can be run from a floppy disk.

Easy Message is freeware and can be dowloaded at

Yes, on my travels to find the ideal messenger service, I gave Easy Message a try out.  As you say, Dave, it was a bit flaky, but looks almost identical to MSN Messenger, and at such a small size, could be useful to some.
