My notebook (Samsung VM8080cT) runs so hot that it glows red for up to an hour after switching off.  I'm not sure whether I would be brave enough to try these mods, but I might investigate one of the pad systems that sit underneath a notebook.  Anyone tried these yet?

The ones in the school physics department burned my fingers, maybe I can goto www.anotheraccidenthelplinetogetmoneyIdon'tdeserve.co.uk and get compensation  ;D

You could just walk around with a very powerful UPS and a 140W PSU connected to 4 fans underneath the laptop?  ;D
