Title: Connection Problems
Post by: Lona on September 19, 2003, 11:08
As you probably know, I was having problems with IE6.
Now through pure co-incidence when I downloaoded Mozilla I could not connect through my internet connection.  I went into help and typed in the error message I was receiving (720). I was told to go to networking- dialup connection- description and change the name of my PC. When I did this everything worked,  including IE6.  I would never have found this out, had I not downloaded Mozilla.  I spent hours trying to find out the problem with IE6. I now have 2 workable brousers.  :D
