Hi,
Recently i installed flash mx 2004, and now when i click on my IE shortcut in my quick launch bar, nothing happens. The sand timer appears for a few seconds, disappears and then nothing. ???
I have a suspicion it has something to do with the flash player?
Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this annoying problem. Only way i can get round it for now is to start an IE window my typing a web address into my computer :'(
Thanks, Boss

If you right click the icon and choose properties, the settings should be the same as those on the image below.
(Your target will say C: rather than H: probably)

Here is a picture of my properties box
It only started happening after installing flash mx 2004 :-\

As long as there is a C:\ before the Program Files bit in Target, that seems OK Big_Boss.
Have you tried running iexplore directly from Start|Run?
-
Just tried just now and it does the same thing :'(

It sounds like you need to run a repair on IE then Big_Boss.
Either that or install a better browser. See http://pc-pals.com/index.php?board=27;action=display;threadid=7012;start=0
:mg: I'm starting to sound like Simon and Tony again :o :o

I like the look of your screenshot, BB. What OS are you using, or is that a different skin?

Hi Simon, im on XP Pro
http://www.themexp.org/ (http://www.themexp.org/) is a good site for wallpapers, visual styles etc, with the exact style from my screenshot shown here (http://www.themexp.org/view_info.php?id=32640).
If thats not to your taste, theirs lots more. Theres bound to be something you like! ;D

Thanks a lot BB! :D I've installed the one you have, but I think I'll have a look round at some others as well. Unfortunately the site seems to have gond down for the moment. :(
