Title: Adaware
Post by: TR on September 30, 2003, 12:40
Hi folks just a small Question, when I start up adaware and look in what to search / delete, all my family are ticked in the various boxes and when it scans it only shows mine.

I log off me and log into the daughter/sons and there is loads to be deleted.. what gives.

While I can't help with the multiple users problem Hook, I can recommend that you download Spyware Blaster.  It is a freeware program that stops spyware, tracking cookies etc. being installed in the first place.  Since I started to use it, AdAware hasn't found a single item on my system.  It can be downloaded at:

Have you tried running it when you are logged in as admin Hooky ?
I dont use it so not sure how it works but I would have thought that it should do all accounts if ran in admin :doggie:

Oh that! ::) :lol:

Adaware scans the registry for spyware, so I guess it cannot scan the registries of users which aren't logged in  :-\
