Nitroclicks - is it a scam?
« on: January 16, 2003, 10:47 »
Hi all,

is anyone aware of the www.nitroclicks.com website that pays you to carry out simple tasks?

Please let me know if anyone has had passed experiance with them.

If you do look to sign up with them, you can do so here and will earn me some comission. ;)

By the way set up a new lycos (or similar account) to get your tasks.

Cheers

I must admit that I haven't heard of it before.  Alarm bells went off when I read that they don't make a payout until you reach $500 so I presume that it will be very difficult to achieve.  Call me a cynic but I've heard of similar (not internet based) schemes where people carry out a lot of work and end up with nothing at the end of it.  If you enjoy doing it then by all means go for it. If you receive money for it then that's a bonus isn't it?  ;D

To be honest I think it's a scam, but signed up anyway.

You get bombarded with tasks in the first week (generating a lot of $) and then nothing for about 2 months!  You get lots and lots of spam - which i send to a lycos account.

Let you all know if anything ever comes out of out - maybe a few years time  :P ;D

I think Scrumpy Jack has taken part in similar things. He gets websites to review ( The page was off line when I tried to see what it was about). I dont think he had to amass such a high amount before they paid him out but he has been paid on occassions  :-*
