Has anyone heard of or tried out this....spycatcher express . I've never heard of it myself, it looks impressive (for free

) but you never know.

I'm not happy with it Dave. I didn't like having to re-boot after installation. No other antispyware has demanded that before. It's found 9 trojans on my computer but I'm not sure whether to believe it. I have a bad feeling.....

On Mrs Clive's machine it wiped her desktop clean - and I mean clean!! All I had was wallpaper. I did a system restore to get rid of it and mine is going tomorrow too.

Now you know why it's free!

The reboot would probably have been so that it could launch the real time scanning facility (if it has one) on start up. Spyware Doctor does this too, and I think most of them which have real time scanners will do the same.

er...sorry it's no good , it wasn't meant to be any sort of reccommendation on my part :shock: I just stumbled upon it. Now i know why i hadnt heard of it before. Its going into the cyber bin along with clives copy
