Repartitioned 250GB SATA hard drive 3.0GHz Dual Core Processor and 4 x 512MB DDR2 RAM.

With an additional 250GB external drive.

Samsung SM204B 20.1" monitor which can rotate to full A4 portrait view.

Don't have to do so much scrolling anymore.

Thank you Simon.

Well that's the desktop. Needs three A4 screens really to give an in-box/read-screen, an out-box/write screen, and an applications/help screen.

I just need someone to make me a 'Briefcase' computer with carrying handle, where the lid opens along its short side to that I can have the identical size A4 screen and a bay into which the same 'external' hard drive fits instead of having a drive of its own.

Or it could form the main computer with two additional screens when used in a Study at home or at the office.

It would need to have a decent (non-laptop) keyboard with a NUM pad and, possibly, a built in modular printer to give full capability on the move.

Hi "Mac",

Are those problems on the really old posts ?
I know the coding on some of the old posts didnt convert properly when we changed the forum software.

Yes that will be when we were using the old YaBB software.

It didnt seem worth spending ages sorting them all out as not many people would look back that far  :)

It's because the site is running like cold treacle tonight.  Blame Poopex.  Some of the buttons just aren't loading at all for me.

Nice box by the way.  And yours isn't bad either, Mac.

Well all the buttons on this post work OK.

Maybe you should ditch the older posts and keep the info as up to date as the computers.

The old stuff comes in handy at times Mac.
We do have a pruning session every now and again of things that arent technical problems but we decided that some of the older technical posts could still be useful, if we could find them  :)

I've not noticed any reduction in speed at the moment either, Rod.

Sandra may be referring to the forum search engine, which often seems to be hit and miss, and more miss than hit!
