i doubt it is a glitch. everything should be fine as this is not, i believe a known issue. Any chance you get replies to the forums you have posted in before and recently changed it?

Also check that the box below the message body is not selected... tell me if both are fine...

both boxes are ticked NO, Sam.

This was going on before the upgrade and I thought it would sort itself out.

I thought maybe I had them ticked as YES by mistake but they weren't.

Surely this must be a personal setting somewhere, or we would all be getting them?  :|

What happens when you click the link to stop the notifications, Lona?  I have to say, this is really weird!  If the notifications were somehow activated in your profile, you should be receiving them for all threads you have posted in.

On several threads?  :ooo:  If that's the case, you'll have to cut down on the Merlot!    However, I can't think of any other explanation.  There's also a tick box which says 'Notify me when a reply is posted', but I can't see how this could be accidentally ticked, on several instances.  :?

I see at the bottom of this topic it say " watch this topic for replies".  I have never seen this before and certainly have never clicked on it that I know of.

I'll have to watch out for the next time I get an email and will be very careful what I click on  :D

It's very strange, Lona, but logically, if it was a problem with the forum software, I would have expected a) for it to affect all threads you have posted in, and b) for it to have also affected other members.  However, we know that odd things can happen from time to time, so I can't guarantee there isn't a glitch in your profile, but would be surprised if there is, given that Sam did the forum upgrade at the weekend, and this was happening before and after.

Unless Sam can come up with anything concrete, I can only suggest that when you get a notification email, click the link to stop the notifications, and see if that works.  Obviously, if you are getting notifications from several threads, you would need to click the 'stop' link in all of them, as they arrive.  Sorry I can't come up with any other answer.
