One feature I have missed is the choice to show all posts from the last day, week etc.  That was handy if you had logged in but your browser crashed before you had the chance to view posts since the last visit.  Firefox doesn't crash very often, but it crashed on me yesterday and when I had restarted it and logged back in the posts since last visit was empty, as it would be since my last visit had only been moments ago.
