Perhaps George Bush could be the new Voice of N.R.A :)

Well, he is already the poster boy for the world's most dangerous idiot. So I guess that means he fully qualified. The right to bare arms, and wage illegal wars. Ignore the UN Security council, and the Geneva Convention.

I could go and on, but you will be pleased to know, I won't, it's too damned depressing.

Better get my tin hat on

I never rated this guy as either an actor or anything else,he was arrogant and very rude.To claim as some of the papers are today that he was a "Great" actor is going well over the top when you consider his age and the era,he may have been in the company that time of truly great actors but I cant see how he fits into this at all.
I must confess I had little time for him or his views, and (im ducking now) his acting was as about as convincing as his hair.

Right I'm  out of here.......................  :niceday:

Apart from "Ben Hur" most of the movies he was in were pretty average, he was not in the same league as "Kirk Douglas"

Agreed, he couldn't hold a candle to the likes of Marlon Brando, Jimmy Stewart so many to name E G Robinson, so many.
If he was in a film it would actually put me off it,my memory may be misleading me but didn't he  end up in the odd disaster movie?or did it prove a disaster because he was in it

I can't think of a movie he is in that I liked, I found him a little painful to watch.

But I didn't start to dislike until he became the "Voice" of one of the most ridiculous and out dated amendments of the US constitution.

I would liken Charleton Heston to John Wayne, who couldn't really act any part but being John Wayne.

I loved some of his movies, especially Ben Hur. I also thought he was very good in The Omega Man, a much better movies than the remake made by Will Smith.

If you examine almost all of his movies, you will notice that in nearly every one of them, he took his clothes off.
