Worked fine for me too.  Didn't we establish it was one of your add ons, Baz?

cant remember Simon. I tried disabling Adblock plus but didnt seem to make any difference if I remember right. I also get the same effect when using google maps sometimes the satellite view but if I leave it for a while it seems to go ok. its as if the page hasnt fully loaded but the signs show it is loaded

I do get it occasionally when the page 'judders' rather than smooth scrolls, but if it starts happening continually, a browser restart usually sorts it out.  Could also be your firewall or anti-virus deciding to be slow at checking web pages.  :dunno:

It checks everything that comes out of the router, Baz, but I use NOD with no problems, so I don't think it's that. Which version do you have? I think you run Firefox, don't you? If so, what add-ons do you have?

just looking at Task Manager and every refresh of FF the CPU goes up to 100% or very near. is that right

Try disabling the add-ons one at a time, starting with Ad Block Plus, which is, I suspect, the problem, Baz. :)

OK, turn them all off, then try. If that's OK, turn them back on one at a time, Baz.
