The European Union on Thursday cleared Oracle Corp.'s proposed $7.4 billion takeover of Sun Microsystems Inc., saying it would not significantly affect competition in the EU.

I wonder if the MySQL side of things will affect forums?  Most of them use them, I think.

I'm sure it won't change  - they aren't stupid. I bet they see this as a way of dominating the business world by everyone who does it for fun using etc..
