Leiston 1 - 1 Witham. what a terrible game...we didn't look like scoring? our goal was an OG if I had to mark that game it would be 2 out of 10  :ack:

Thankfully, Chorley's last two fixtures have been postponed.  I don't like festive season  footy one bit.

Football is a funny old game?

With 7 players missing through injury and illness and 1 high profile player been sold for a hefty fee to a higher league team and the reserves stepping up 5 leagues to play at a much higher level.

Leiston 3 - 0 Lewes , we talked before the game and didn't see that coming

FA Trophy 2nd Round:

Chorley 3 - 3 FC United of Manchester  Att. 2254

The worst tie we could have possibly got in the FA Trophy saw the team with an unbelievable away record at Chorley visit Victory Park.  Since their formation, FCUM had played at Chorley nine times, winning seven, drawing one and losing just one.

Even though Chorley went in at half time two goals to the good, I don't think a single Chorley supporter was confident, even though FCUM now play in a lower league.  Our fears were confirmed when, with just six minutes left, FCUM went 3-2 up.  Thankfully, Chorley found something from somewhere and hit back instantly to take the game to a replay next Tuesday.

Great match by the way!

Leiston's match was called off after 2 pitch inspections? the last one an hour before KO so Margate had an 3.5 hour journey wasted. but it was not all gloom as we hardy supporters kept the bar busy all afternoon and night  ;D 8-)

(Played at Curzon Ashton)

Didn't bother going as in probably a dozen times I have seen Chorley play FCUM we have won just once.  They must wish they could play us every week!
