Not too well, Terry.  Played them three times, twice in the league - 0-0 at home and lost 0-3 at their place and then played them in the semi-final of the Lancashire Trophy and lost 0-2.  Having said that, we dominated in the home league match but just couldn't put the ball in the net and had loads of chances in the cup game but once again couldn't kill them off.  :-\

Leiston football club have confirmed their management team for next season and hopefully beyond.  Manager Mark Morsley continues but they are particularly pleased that Head Coach Steve Ball and Player Coach Lee Norfolk have both penned two year deals.  Goalkeeper Coach Dave Hunt is to retire but Morsley has pulled of a bit of a coup as Nathan Munson takes on Dave's mantle.  Ex Pro Munson played for Morsley at a number of clubs and has been coaching at Brantham Athletic.

Morsley stated 'to have three ex professional's looking after the coaching at the club shows the commitment at Leiston to taking the club forward.  In the modern game pre-match preparation is huge, it can give you an edge as it did for us in the Ridgeons League last season.  Having these guys on board strengthens our hand as we take on the new challenges the Ryman League will offer'.

Leiston Chairman Andy Crisp is also delighted with his 1st XI management team, 'It is so important to have the foundations in place if we are going to progress.  Mark has shown us the importance of good coaching and having excellent coaches, having Steve, Lee and Nathan on board gives us that in abundance'.

Today LFC announced the signing of Nathan Stone (20 goals a season) striker from fellow Ryman team Needham market.
