does look good, especially hdmi out and both cameras... sweet.

still the 7" screen, not quite the ipad though.. but also better than the 5" dell streak, so maybe it will actually be the right size..

We also have no idea how much RIM is expecting to charge for the PlayBook, or if it will be subject to the same contracts and carrier agreements as their BlackBerry phones. If we had to guess, based on the pricing of the Dell Streak, the PlayBook will likely cost between $500-$1000, unsubsidized.

It can't be the same carrier agreements, as it doesn't have the 3G inbuilt, you need to link up with a phone... still though, looks ace. Would love to get to have a play with one and then I'll make my mind up about it, but if its reasonably priced might get one before I leave Canada next summer.

Yeah, I guess you have to weigh up the benefits of having a bigger device, but also having to carry a phone around, which basically does the same thing when it comes to email, organiser, etc.

The Nokia N8 has HDMI, but no QWERTY keyboard.  I believe the new Desire HD also has HDMI.
