So, on a scale of 1 to 10, how tempted are you?

8, but I find it hard to justify given I'm usually within a few feet of a computer.

I know, but additional tariff plus whatever Orange would want to charge me for the handset... :(

I calculate it to be the best part of £400 in the first year, and yet I'd still mainly be making phone calls or sending texts...

my phone is very useful. I use it as my mobile internet too. Its been great this week. Screw you novotel and your £14 a day internet charge.

You'd probably find you'd use it more than you first think, Rik, but I can see your point.

You may be right, but with two desktops, two notebooks and a netbook, I'm not sure (that's having searched the apps store). I use about £10pa for mobile BB via a dongle, so it's hard to justify £10-15pm increase in tariff. Obviously, if things change and I start going out more, the balance shifts.

But if you're going out, you won't want to be fiddling about posting or emailing from your phone.  :)
