Haha I did wonder, i was going to make a joke about upgrading to win 95  :P

Yes to both questions.  I have my iPod folder on the Desktop for easy access and I copied it and dropped it into the folder on the phone.  It's a big file and took a few minutes to transfer.  But when I open the music app on the phone it seems to be empty.  I'm obviously doing something wrong.
