Charlie was hanging a new door and discovered one of the hinges was missing. He asked his wife, Mary, if she would go down to B&Q and pick up a new hinge.
Off she went and while Mary was waiting for the manager to finish serving a customer, a really beautiful bathroom tap caught her eye. As soon as the manager had finished, Mary asked him, "How much is that Bath Tap?"
The manager replied, "Ah, that's a very exclusive gold-plated Bath Tap and the price is £450.00."
Mary exclaimed, "My goodness, that's an expensive Tap. It's certainly out of my price bracket." She then proceeded to describe the hinge that Charlie had sent her to buy.
The manager said that he had them in stock and went out the back into the storeroom to get one. Then from the storeroom, yelled, "Madam, do you wanna screw for the hinge?"
Mary thought for a moment then shouted back, "No, but I will for the Bath Tap.''
