Joining CD's together
« on: October 06, 2004, 07:11 »
I would have prefered to put this thread in the "Technical" board. But as I know that it'll please Sandra more to put it here, I like to make pleasure to her. Not to make more job to her by moving it.    :)

Well, here's the matter:

I have an encyclopedia done originally on 4 ordinary CD's, (four parts). I like to make a secure copy of it on only one DVD, joining them all together.

Anyone has an idea how to do that?

To make the matter more clear: while installing it, it asks me to add the next Cd, then the next, then the next...

I can't add them all together to one folder to be burned, because there are files and folders in some CD's having the same name. It doesn't accept them as a repeated data name.

And I don't like to copy them as 4 data folders. I like their contents to be joined to be installed one time, without asking me to add the next cd .. and the next ..

What technology must be done or followed to succeed doing it?

Thanks...
