Enhanced XP Firewall
« on: November 24, 2004, 23:30 »
This will probably come as a shock to those of you who know how anti-firewall I am (I only have one because of paranoia) but I am posting this because I think it might be of interest to those of you who use Windows XP built in firewall.

FirePanel XP is an extension of the Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 firewall. It uses a kernel-mode, stateful packet inspection method, which is much more robust than other firewalls which can frequently cause a "Blue Screen Of Death"

Protect your Windows machine from unsolicited internet traffic and malicious probes by securing it with FirePanel XP today. You can specify which addresses or networks can connect to that port. Unopened ports always remain FULL STEALTH.

Monitor your firewall activity, keeping a realtime tab on exactly what's going on, and change the settings that Windows automatically generated, and take control of your firewall and resources.
