EA tech support, from my experience, is usually excellent. Have you contacted them? You never know you could just have a damaged disc - I do doubt this though. What are you full specs of your machine (i.e. processor speed, RAM and video memory). Also you might need to update the version of directx. Have you installed all the latest windows updates (I am sure this is not entirely neccesary though). To get the latest version of directx go to: www.microsoft.com/windows/directx/downloads/default.asp
