Maybe there should be one sticked thread for firefox updates. After all they do tend to update every few months.

I take your point Bob but then we could end up with stickies for MS updates, Nero updates etc etc.  Anyone downloading Firefox for the first time would automatically get the latest version anyway.   8-)

...and Firefox does also offer a semi-automatic update facility, in that it notifies the user when updates are available.

You usually get a little red arrow by the Google search box, Lona, but sometimes it takes a few days to appear.
